Watch Me Paint 1

I don't have very much experience painting, but need to practice more to get better. This is a video I made of my painting practice session. I'd like to be able to look back on this and see how much I've progressed in the future.

I believe I got the pack of brushes at a 99 cent store. The acrylics I got at Ross for $5. Used normal printer paper since I was just going to be practicing and I didn't want to use up a canvas.

The white acrylic tube was a struggle. First I couldn't poke the hole in it to get it to open, then later when I tried to take off the cap so I could pour some out, it popped through the middle of the cap and made a mess. I had to use one of the white caps to seal it, though it doesn't seem to be the right size. We'll see how it goes.

While poking holes in the green, blue, and black tubes, I had to use the same hole-poking cap since there weren't enough for all of them. After doing so, I tried to get the remnants of the paint left on the cap to paint with, and the mix of colors ended up inspiring me to try to paint the ocean.

My camera only allows 20 minute videos at a time, and stops without any alert. I usually set up a timer to warn me to press the record button again, but this time I forgot to set that up. Sadly, this means I lost footage of the most interesting part of my painting process.

Time: ~1 hour
