If this video looks familiar, it's because it's a remake of an older video. This one is much faster and includes music!

Watch me experiment with painting with cheap acrylic paints and brushes. This is my first time painting space and stars. I'm very proud of this one. I used blue, black, and red for the background, and white (and some light blue sometimes) for the stars.
Materials:
-cheap acrylic paints
-cheap paint brushes
-white flash card
-water
-push pin
-masking tape
Time spent:
- ~2 hours painting
- ~20 minutes editing image
- ~4 hours creating video (finding relevant music, adjusting speeds to match the music with the video)
What I Learned:
-It's okay to paint over things you don't like.
-When flicking paint off the brush (for stars), having a lot of paint on the brush will flick off large globs.
-Push pin with paint on the tip is good for detailed work, but will take a long time and needs to re-dip a lot.
-Paint dries more dull and faded than when it is applied.
-My video editor only allows setting the video up to x10 speed. But I can render the recordings at x10 speed, then import them. Then I can set the rendered recordings to x10 speed again, allowing x100 speed (or more if I want to do it again). More than enough.
