This was one of my first times using a telephoto lens. I was originally using it to take photos of the Santa Barbara fire from far away, but then I realized I could use it to take photos of closer animals without disturbing them.
This seagull looked great with the background sky, so I was taking photos of it. But in the middle of taking photos, it started moving. In the end, the motion I captured ended up giving the most interesting photo.
