This was one of my first night photography pictures. I never got to take good night pictures on a camera before, so everything seemed really incredible to me. This was an oil rig in Santa Barbara, California that looked really nice at night. And the reflection on the water was what I was experimenting with when trying different shutter speeds. I actually couldn't see the purple in the sky, but my camera managed to capture it. It shocked me that my camera could capture colors that even I couldn't see.
