Drawn during my first year doing Inktober, a challenge to make an ink drawing everyday for the month of October. The prompt for Day 13 was Ash.

I wanted to draw something to do with a phoenix rising from the ashes, but I wanted to keep it simple. So I spent more effort on figuring out how to design something simple but elegant to get the message across.
